What is Partially Addressed Mail?
Partially Addressed Mail is a new marketing method from the Royal Mail.
Which identifies new potential customers by using specialist targeting methods, without breaking GDPR regulations.
The mail doesn’t include any personal information about the recipient and will be partially addressed to the “Home Owner” or “Occupier”…whatever you choose.
You will be targeting at postcode level (similar to door drops), and by using your existing customer postcodes, you can pinpoint other homes in ‘customer rich’ areas using geo-profiling software to identify similar prospect look-a-likes.
However, the main disadvantage for PAM is the cost comparison to door drops. With PAM costing up to 81.4p per item with door drops as little as 4.5p.
So if you were to target one million homes, this would cost £810,000 compared to £45,000….A huge difference.
